"Dare to Dream take the Journey" is the motto for Jessica Black. Jessica dared to dream and took the journey in the beautiful city of lights, in Las Vegas Nevada in 2010. Jessica competed against girls from all across the country and was selected by a panel of 10 judges to be Miss United States 2010.
In 2011 & 2012 Jessica was featured on national networks like MTV, HGTV and Lifetime Television as well as hundreds of local, national and international news stations. After traveling the US & Asia as Miss United States and completing over 300+ service events throughout her year, Jessica was able to raise over $500K for some 35 charities across the US.

The National United States Junior Chamber named Jessica as one of The 2012 TEN Outstanding Young Americans. Joining the ranks with other TOYA honorees such as Bill Clinton, John F. Kennedy, Dick Cheney, Gale Sayers and Elvis Presley. Jessica, is only the second Georgian to receive this recognition in over 25 years.
Jessica enjoys traveling the county as a Host, Model & Motivational Speaker. Speaking on topics like "The Power of Words", Health & Wellness and "The Superwoman Syndrome". Jessica volunteers for organizations such as Children’s Miracle Network, Hands on Atlanta, the Nicholas House and Children’s Hospital of Atlanta.
Jessica is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia. As a surprise to most of her pageant supports, she began her career as an IBM’er with “Big Blue”. She now works as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Premier Logic, a rapidly growing IT Software development company based in Atlanta, Georgia. Jessica is truly addicted to volunteering and helping others; she enjoys working hard to empower young women all across the US.

Jessica Black currently serves as Director of Sales and Marketing for Premier Logic, a national IT software development and advisory firm that focuses on business improvement and community involvement. Black heads up the company's monthly community letter called IMPACT, which details philosophies and projects designed to 'impact' the world.
In July, 2010, Black was crowned crowned Miss United States. Her platform was raising awareness through volunteerism. Upon traveling the United States and Asia and completing over 300+ events in 2010 as Miss United States, Black raised over $400k for 35 charities across the country.
In 2011, Black was featured on national networks such as MTV, HGTV, and Lifetime Television as well as hundreds of local, national, and international news stations. She also worked on local and national commercial and print advertisement campaigns raising awareness for just causes and organizations.
The National United States Junior Chamber recently named Jessica as one of the 2012 Ten Outstanding Young Americans. Joining the ranks with honorees such as Bill Clinton, John F. Kennedy, Dick Cheney, Kurt Warner, Gale Sayers and Elvis Presley, Black, only the second Georgian to receive this recognition in over 25 years at the 74th annual black-tie ceremony held June 30th in Des Moines, Iowa. The Ten Outstanding Young Americans (TOYA) project is the oldest and most prestigious recognition programs in America, recognizing 10 Americans each year who exemplify the best attributes of the nation's young people aged 18 to 40.

As Miss United States 2010, Jessica was able to raise over $400K for some 35 charities across the US. Jessica’s background also includes 14 years of dance experience; she started at 3 years of age, studying Tap, Jazz and Ballet. She’s performed at Walt Disney world in Orlando Florida, the 1996 Olympics and many large bowl games. Jessica volunteers for organizations such as Children’s Miracle Network, Hands on Atlanta, Big Brother Big Sisters Program, Toys for Tots and Children’s Hospital of Atlanta. About Me 2010:
I was crowned Miss United States 2010 in the bright lights of Las Vegas Nevada. Over the past seven months, I have been traveling across the US as Miss United States, promoting my platform and raising awareness for volunteerism all over the United States. My personal charity is Children's Miracle Network and as Miss United States, we also work with Oprah on her "No Phone Zone" - no texting while driving campaign. In the past four months, I have been able to raise $120K for Children's Miracle Network and been very blessed to work with some amazing people like Jimmy Carter, Mario Lopez, Jason London, Giuliana Rancic and Project Runway stars Jonathan Kayne & April Johnson . I have been working as a judge, an emcee and production assistant for hundreds of productions all across the United States. My favorite charities to volunteer for are the Children’s Miracle Network (CHOA), Hands on Atlanta, the Big Brother Big Sisters Program and Toys for Tots. I'm truly addicted to volunteering and helping others especially young women. Other neat facts about me, I performed as a dancer at Walt Disney world in Orlando Florida, the 1996 Olympics and many large bowl games.

Jessica has 8 years of Runway and Print Modeling Experience; she has modeled for Liz Claiborne, Jovani and many other renowned dress designers. Jessica is an honors graduate of the University of Georgia. As a surprise to most of her pageant supports, Jessica began her career as an IBM’er with “Big Blue” in Global Consulting Sales. She now works for a rapidly growing IT Based Consulting company in Atlanta, Georgia.
Jessica volunteers for organizations such as Children’s Miracle Network, Hands on Atlanta, Big Brother Big Sisters Program, Toys for Tots and Children’s Hospital of Atlanta. Very excited to let media outlets in Atlanta know, that our very own Miss Georgia, recently won the Title of Miss United States 2010 in Las Vegas Nevada on July 15th. Her name is Jessica Black and she's been residing in Atlanta for six years now. She was super excited to represent her state, but also to bring the National lime light back to Atlanta.

"Dare to Dream take the Journey" is the motto of the Miss United States National Pageant. One small town girl from Georgia took that journey and found herself achieving her biggest dreams. On July 15th, 2010 Jessica Michelle Black, was crowned Miss United States 2010 in the beautiful city of lights, Las Vegas Nevada. Jessica competed against girls from all across the country and was selected by a panel of 10 judges to be our new Miss United States 2010.
Jessica proudly represented the State of Georgia. She won the Spirit award presented by Pageantry Magazine (for the Pageant, Fashion, Talent and Modeling Industries) for promoting Friendship and Sportsmanship. Jessica was also voted "Miss Congeniality" by the other contestants for the Miss United States National pageant. Jessica's platform is Children's Miracle Miracle Network. She currently volunteers at the Children's Hospital of Atlanta, Hands on Atlanta and has worked with the Big Brothers Big Sister Program.
Throughout the next year Jessica will be promoting her platform across the country, as well we the Miss United States National platform working with Oprah Winfrey, "No Phone Zone" pledge- no texting while driving. Jessica proudly represented the state of Georgia at this years pageant and is looking forward to traveling all across the United States this year. She will be on the cover of Supermodels Magazine and will be working with fashion dress designer Tony Bowls on a new gown line. Jessica is a 26 year old, honor graduate from the University of Georgia, she is currently employed with one of the fastest growing IT Consulting and Human Capital firms in Atlanta, Georgia.
